I set up a module with two requirements, but included other tasks that were not requirements. However, when my students tried to access the non-required tasks, they could not open them until they completed the required tasks. If I want to include intervention and enrichment activities in a module, but not make them required, can I do that or do I have to make a new modules without requirements?

Hello,
I'm sorry to see that you never received a reply here. You should be able to let your students work through required and not-required items in a module without them having to do the required bits first if you don't have the sequential order requirement checked. Did this end up being the case for you?

So if I remove the sequential, they should be able to do both required and not required. Thanks. That makes me rethink how I will use requirements. I appreciate your reply.
Hi,
Yes, that is my understanding. If you'd like for me to look at your course, please direct message me.
