Can you publish what is in you sandbox course in order to save and use materials you have created in an actual course?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @briana_camden and welcome to the Canvas Community! Yes, you have options. Either you can publish your Sandbox course and just rename it. Or, you can export your course as a downloadable file and import that file into a new course. Or, you could copy the entire Sandbox course into another course. Hope this helps. Please reply if you have any additional questions.

how do you remane a sandbox?
@johnstj2 ...
Assuming that you are an instructor, and assuming that you have permissions to re-name courses, you can go into your sandbox course and then click on the "Settings" menu item on the left-hand side of your course. Then, there will be an area to re-name your course.
How do I change a course name and course code?
If you are unable to change the name of your sandbox course, this permission might have been disabled by your school's Canvas admin or someone from their Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education team.
An alternative to re-naming your course via this method would be to give your course a nickname. This is a name that only you would see...not any other person (students, instructors, etc.) Check the section called "Create Nickname" in the below Guide:
How do I view my favorite courses in the Card View Dashboard as an instructor?
I hope this will be of some help to you. Let Community members know if you have any other questions about this...thanks!
