The instructor did not properly set up the assignment to accept submissions? But, if your classmates have been able to submit work and you have not, this would rule that out.
Have you tried using a different browser such as an up-to-date version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome?
Have you tried clearing your browser history/cache, closing the browser, and then re-starting the browser?
Ultimately, you may need to reach out to Canvas Support to see if they can help you (since we here in the Community do not have access to your courses or your school's Canvas environment).
