Hello snugent,
I have not tried the readers on the link. However, I have done some investigating using NVDA.
Pros:
Cons:
Here are some others I've looked into:
Read&Write for Google:
Snapverter- converts any PDF ( for inaccessible documents) and converts to accessible doc
Snapverter feature video- convert ANY doc to an accessible doc- annotate, highlight, screen reader, etc.
Read&Write- Powered by Google for accessibility
Read&Write feature video- shows all the tools i.e. dictionary, image dictionary, speak it, predictor, annotation, vocabulary builder, voice notes, etc.
Please let me know if you have any questions,
Stephanie

Our Academic Success Center uses NaturalReader for students with the accommodation of needing tests read. We either have the tests published into a Canvas course and the questions will be read to them, or if it is a test where student have to physically write answers, calculations, etc., we can load the test document into Canvas as a PDF and have NaturalReader read the document to them. It seems to work pretty well.
I like the ChromeVox extensions - it works really well in Canvas esp. tabbing through.
