when I upgraded my canvas-lms to release/2020-05-09.27-13328-gf4dc8f7

The fonts of other categories are normal, and the font will change as soon as you enter the course

This looks like the Canvas Elementary Theme is enabled. It is a feature under Admin > Settings > Feature Options.

In the "Allow" mode, individual teachers can turn it on or off within the course, which could explain why it changed from course to course. Within a course, it is under the Course Settings > Feature Options.

The documentation on it in the release notes I saw was minimal, so I went into beta and turned it on yesterday. As someone nowhere close to elementary age who works in higher education, it made me sick to look at and I quickly had to turn it off. I went into the next room and told our Canvas Admin to never enable it.
