After arranging my Dashboard tiles by class period and color, some of the tiles will have changed color or moved to a new position or both after scrolling away or switching screens. I am looking for information on what is going on and how to remedy the issue if a fix exist.

Hello @MartyDoucet
I understand you are seeing Course tabs moved after having organized them and I want to help.
Have you favorited those Courses at all via the Courses tab? It is right beneath the Dashboard tab on the left. From there, go to All Courses. Here you will find a list of your active and past enrollments. From there you can to star the courses to show on your Dashboard. When starred they should show not be able to be moved and should be removed once completed. I believe, if you haven't favorited any, that would be why if the tiles are changing their placements.
I would first try favoriting those courses for them to show. We can also change the color, and nickname of the courses once they are showing how you would like. Here is a reference if needed:
Hope this helps!
The only solution I have found when tiles move around is to do a screen refresh each time I alter a tile's color, name or position. If I move more than one tile before refreshing, they all get jumbled. It seems to be a glitch of some sort that does not follow normal guidelines or remedies. It is very possible that the issue you are experiencing is a different variation than mine and the refresh trick may or may not work. So far, I have not had tiles jumble or color change after using the refresh per tile method.

Thank you for your help and taking the time to respond. I walked through the instructions given and it does appear that they are all starred/favorited at the time they decided to play musical chairs. They have stayed in place and color today, at least. If you have other ideas to try, please share. It may be something out of my hands such as how Canvas was setup on the work servers and causing a glitch, but hopefully it remedies itself soon. Thanks again!
My tiles are also starred as favorites, but they will not stay in place after I arrange them either. If I select a different student, the tiles are rearranged when I come back to the first student. Colors stay put, which is nice, but the tiles do not stay in place.

I had another anomaly occur just yesterday in which a tile reverted to a generic style. The content and layout appeared different than before so I suspect that the tile's position, color, and name changed because the main owner of the tile cross listed it into another tile. It did let me rename, reorder and color code the new tile, so I am hoping that all will be well.
