How do I change my clock format from 12-hour to 24-hour? I've only seen options to change my time zone, but none to change the clock format.

Hi @CarterHunsaker,

It's not currently possible to change the time format to a 24-hour format. If you'd like to suggest adding this functionality to Canvas or other Instructure products, you can create a feature idea. I have a student who reported her time was showing in 24-hour format. When masquerading as her it shows 12-hour format but her screen shots show 24-hour time. She has cleared here cookies and cache, used a different browser, restarted her computer, and changed her time zone to UK which will show 24 hour time, and back to US and back to out default which is US. None of this has changed her viewing of 24 hour time. No other students have reported this problem. She says that her computer and browser settings are set to 12-hour time and no other site is showing 24 hour time. Any ideas?

Hello! 

I was searching for a way to toggle 24hr time formats and it will only display as 24hr if you switch your account Language settings to English (UK). Strange that this is tied to language settings and not a separate setting altogether. 

The English (US) setting will only display as 12hr format.

This is happening to one of my faculty as well.

I had this happen with a faculty where two assignments were in 12-hour format and the other two were in 24-hour format. Any update on this?
