Treat grades as 0 option is not on my version. Help! I am wanting to determine the total points for the semester.

Hi Sonya,

It looks like your school has switched over to the New Gradebook in Canvas.  The "treat grades as 0" was an option on the "ol" Gradebook.  The New Gradebook uses the "...missing submissions..." setting in the screenshot you included to accomplish the same thing.

The treat grade as 0, actually treated all grades past and future dates as 0 points in order to determine the total number of points for the semester. The late policy only applies to assignments past the due date.

Yep, I understand the difference in the way the old and new settings work.  Just pointing out that the "missing" policy in the New Gradebook is intended to fulfill the same function as the "treat grade as 0" was generally used for in the old Gradebook.
