Having a facility for all canvas users can talk and share ideas is great and I was wondering if people would be interested in creating a new group for UK Canvas users, where we could share ideas and thoughts?

What do people think?

How's about a University of Birmingham (UK) group too.  Our version of Canvas is subtly different.

I think that is an idea too, Initially I was thinking of trying and get all UK users talkign to each other too

I've put in request for Birmingham one too - a few more of the Careers lot are now joined to Canvas Community - see people I follow.  Having trouble finding many other Univ of Bham lot at the moment, but sure they'll be there soon.

Try following the connections diagram backwards from the profiles of colleagues you do find from your uni.

Will do, and keep eye on who is connecting in community, but easier and more inclusive to have a group for 'University of Birmingham' with everyone, rather than incomplete collection of Friends friends.  Also done University of Birmingham search, and looking forward to making Canvas friends in Alabama!

Haha!  Maybe we should have the first Birmingham users group there?  Although you'd all have to agree on how to pronounce it.

I wanted to make sure you knew the steps once you rally your group.  You will go to Join Groups  and click suggest a group!

Go to 'Groups' and then 'View all groups' and then search for UK.

Then you can join the 'UK Canvas Group'
