[ARCHIVED] Unable to add file / attach file in messages

Hi,

When I am writing a message to someone and then attempt to click on the paperclip to add a file / attach a file, the button doesnt "engage". I have been using canvas all through undergrad and this problem just started a couple weeks ago. I click on the paper clip and the file browser doesn't appear. This is extremely frustrating because some of my assignments are submitted through canvas messages. I am using Safari, but it is really inconvenient to have to switch browsers to add a file. Is there a setting that I need to change?
