We have not used roll call at all yet and are looking into what it can accomplish. Can anyone speak to whether it can be used to require that students attend one or more zoom meetings as requirements within a module?

No, it's not gonna work like that. For the most part it gives you a way to track attendance and even "badges" you can use to track students in class. It creates an Assignment in the Gradebook named Roll Call Attendance which provides an overall score for you and students to view, but there isn't really a way to parse out individual days. I was trying to find a video overview but can't seem to locate one. Here is a link to the guides though and the first link should give you the general idea. https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/tkb-p/Instructor#Attendance(RollCall)

Thanks for providing that info, it'll definitely save me time. Now just to figure out which tool I can use to accomplish that.
