I need to check on Permissions but cannot find the "Admin" tab in Global.

I could be wrong but if you don't have access to Admin from the Global Navigation then that means you don't have access to the root account. If you should then maybe the Canvas Admin at your institution can take a look at your permissions and if you are the Canvas Admin then I would suggest reaching out to your CSM or even submitting a ticket to see what the issue might be.
