[ARCHIVED] Why won't a course publish without requiring the copyright on a posted presentation?

For some of the presentations that are posted on Canvas it asks who the copyright owns. Without answering that question, it won’t allow me to publish the courses. Why?

 @crystal_twaddel , greetings! I've never heard of that happening before, so I'm wondering if it's some type of school-specific setting. My recommendation is to contact Canvas/Instructional Design support at your school. If you're not sure who this would be, you can try contacting Canvas Support by clicking on the Help link in Canvas and "Report a Problem."

This is a setting found near the bottom of the Settings page in the Canvas Admin area (fourth checkbox down in image below)..

Contact your Canvas Admin about this. Likely, your school's setting will be driven by school policy, so it is doubtful you will get this changed.
