[ARCHIVED] docx upload

I had an assignment due for my students today. They all reported not being able to upload a docx file. They all had to re-save their Word documents in an older version of Word. This doesn't seem right to me. Is there a way for students to be able to upload docx files? Thanks!

You need to ensure that your assignment settings include docx as an accepted file extension. Please see the "Restrict File Types" section of https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10151-415241295
