I need help changing a powerpoint to a pdf so students without powerpoint on their computer can access it.  Where are these files kept, in commons?

The easiest way to do this is to download the file from your course. (It should be in your Files). Open the file with PowerPoint and then click File > Save As and select PDF from the menu.
