I have been dealing with this problem for years now. Every time I attempt to watch a recorded lecture or any type of posted video on canvas using firefox, nothing will appear. However, when I try loading the same page on chrome, the video appears and is playable. I would really like to figure out why this is happening and get it fixed so that I don't have to keep using 2 different browsers and I really just don't like using chrome. I have attached screenshots of the same page in both firefox and chrome as an example of what I am encountering.
Thanks,

I'd say in general, look for any ad/content blockers installed in your browser. These seem to be the most common cause for missing content. You can either disable the adblocker entirely, or trust your school's Canvas domain and that will probably solve the issue.
I know the original post here is a couple years ago, but the upper-right corner of firefox seems to show an adblocker with a 3 badge, indicating it's blocked things from loading on the page.
