Hi, I am a student trying to upload an embed image via a discussion board
I have been trying to submit images to discussion board forums for a few days now. I have tried multiple different reliable wifi sources and restarted my computer more than once but none of this has worked. I have done this many times in the past and it has always worked until now.
I go to Insert* Image* Upload Image* Computer* Then I select the image from my files, have "embed image" selected, hit open* submit*. Then, instead of loading, it immediately goes to a message saying "Something went wrong, check your connection and try again."
I have checked my connection, gone to new sources of internet connection, and fully restarted. None of this has worked. What can I do to fix this?
Thank you!

Hi BrigidTamas,
Here are a few things you can try.
Hopefully one of these two suggestions help.
@BrigidTamas The error you are getting is normally because you are out of storage space in Canvas. If you click on your account and then "files" you will see that you actually have a storage limit (and stuff stored there if you have never looked before). If the discussion is not a graded discussion, then adding images to it will count against your storage quota. If the instructor makes it a graded discussion, then the image will NOT count against you. So, either ask them to make the discussion graded, clear out some of your files, or use Google Drive or some other storage tool to link your image to the discussion.
Hope this helps!
