I was able to copy assignments to other classes in the past. Just recently when I tried to copy, I get this message: There was a problem starting the copy operation.
The same message comes up when I try to import an assignment from another colleague also.
Please help.

Hi @adk_native
Before I start, are you an Alaskan Native? I am from Alaska, and am just curious. Always nice to run into folks from home.
Anyways, I just tested this in one of my sandboxes with no problems, I used both the Course Import tool and the Assignment "Copy To" function with no troubles. Is your browser supported? This is always the most likely cause of problems with functionality. See What are the browser and computer requirements for Canvas?
Otherwise, I can only suggest submitting a support ticket. Go to Help, then chose "Report a Problem".
Good luck,
Kelley

Hi and no, Im in NC.
Yes, everything is supported. This started once the new semester kicked in. Canvas wont even let me copy my grade level course to a sandbox. Everything is an error. What is really weird is that with the drop down list of places to send an assignment, now old courses from years past are now listed along with my current courses. But again, nothing will send.
But Thanks for the comment.
