My stdents want me to open the quizes for for they for studying for the final exam.  Is it possible to open quizes as read only so that the answere cannot be changed?

Hi @RPStout 

Once students have submitted a quiz, their answers are locked in and can never be changed, regardless of any settings you make for the quiz.

If your quiz is set like this, students can review it.

The given solution mostly answers the question.  What if a student has not submitted a quiz, but the instructor reopens it long after it's over so the class can look at it?  Students who haven't submitted it before could then submit it.
