[ARCHIVED] typing symbols for things like line and line segment

It is really easy to use the equation editor in word or google docs to create symbols commonly used in HS geometry, yet next to impossible in Canvas.  I cannot even import the image.  This is a major weakness. Why does canvas not have some way to enable just the pasting of images?  It is very frustrating.

Go to settings, Apps, search for MathType. We were able to add this app to each math course and it has every symbol we need. The square root icon becomes the mathtype icon. you may have to click the three dots to the right to access it.  Geometry and Trig have been a thorn in my side until a fried in the department discovered this!!

does not seem to work for me.  I can down load the app, but nothing changes and it does not appear anywere.....😑

another question you might have an answer too- I made a quiz, then made a copy, and edited the copy. they when I published one of them, they were both published!  had to delate it to stop the process
