Add submission is missing

The add submission tab is not showing up for assignments. I have online checked and all four ways a student can upload their assignment.

Hi @carianne_anderson‌ - From your question, I'm thinking you may be a student? It is best to reach out directly to your teacher as maybe the assignment has ended, or a setting may not be accurate. You can send a message to your teacher in Canvas How do I send a message to a user in a course in the Inbox as a student?

Hi,  @canderson21 ‌, I'm wondering if you're a teacher? Students' assignment interface doesn't have an "add submission" button or tab, only a Submit Assignment button at the top right of each assignment (unless you're talking about the mobile app, where students will see a Submit Assignment button across the bottom).

So assuming we're talking about a missing Submit Assignment button, there are a number of factors that could cause this. Are students able to submit other assignments in the course? Are all students using public machines (i.e. the same browser), and if so, what browser are they using? What do you see when you check the assignment in student view?

More information will help us help you get to the bottom of this, and a screenshot would be super.

Thank you for your reply. I am the instructor of the course and I meant the submit assignment button (instead of add submission). I am new to Canvas and use to Moodle settings. I was also in a hurry due to it being the first time using Canvas and adding a large group of students. I was able to get help and the issue has been resolved. I found out it was only happening to the one student and she needed to clear her cache.
