How do I get the app required for downloading the home page template? What is this app?

I am not aware of a Canvas app specifically for home page templates.  Can you please provide more information on where you had seen information about this?  Thanks!

When attempting to open a Canvas Homepage template I downloaded, I too get a message saying I do not have the app to open the template.
