Does canvas automatically check for plagiarism when NOT submitting through turnitin?

Hi, I wanted to know if Canvas automatically checks for plagiarism when a student submits their document NOT through turnitin or other 3rd party checker, but instead adds their assignment directly through canvas submission.

Hi @littledianapie - The only plagiarism checks that take place are through 3rd party vendors. There's not something that is built into Canvas. It would be a much-appreciated feature, I'm sure! How do I create a new idea conversation in the Canvas Community?
