Editing tools not visable on gradebook

Why do editing tools disappear from gradebook for some submissions?

Hello there,  @mcrisafi ...

The annotation tools in the SpeedGrader may not be available depending on the file type that was submitted to you for the assignment.  Please check out these documents for more information:
