Embed powerpoint not showing up for students on iPad

I have embedded PowerPoint files to my canvas. They can be viewed by students if they log onto a computer but for most students who use iPads they only get a box that says Sharepoint online sign in. 

I have tried chrome, safari, and the canvas app. This appears every time on the iPad

Try this: Solution without resorting to Google or OneDrive or O365 is to:

1. Insert the file.

2. Select the file link.

3. Select Link options.

4. Automatically open in-line preview.

I have the same issue as this. Karen, I'm struggling to find where these options are. I'm looking in the Files section of a course. The .pptx file is uploaded there and then added to modules. Neither in modules or files can I find 'Link options'.
