Hi @juliusau 
In Canvas you can create groups, and add students to groups. For Group assignments, you can choose to grade each student member individually or apply a grade to the entire group. Not sure if this is what you are asking, but you can learn more about this in the Groups Chapter of the Canvas Instructor Guide.
