Students with the Same Name

Hi,

 I have two students in my class with exactly the same first and last name. Is there a way to distinguish the students in either the Gradebook or, especially, SpeedGrader.

In the Canvas Gradebook you can add a nickname or such in the Notes Column, How do I use the Notes column in the Gradebook? 

In SpeedGrader there really is no option to support this need. However, there is currently a feature idea for this that open for voting at https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/11714-nickname-for-students-with-same-name Check it out, and support with your vote is you agree.
