Gradebook Assignment Sorting

If I sort an assignment in my grade book by missing or late, how do I "unsort" it so that my grade book will go back to its original alphabetical order?

Hi  @grace_ellis  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

I had to test this in one of my own courses, because I never sort, and seldom use the gradebook until I need to post grades at end of term.

Simply go to the Student Name column, and return your sort to A-Z or Z-A as desired. That will restore all other sorted columns.  Works the same in both Legacy and New Gradebook.
