Graded Discussions not showing in Gradebook. HELP!

Our course has 13 modules.  In each module is a graded discussion.  I want to display the module discussion in the gradebook.  I have 3 other assignments that are in the gradebook, which I have no clue how they got there, but they're there, which is a good thing. How can I get each of the 13 graded discussions to show up in Gradebook? (so that I get the checkoff showing that the student discussed?  I am a new Canvas user and very confused at this point.  Thank you
