I recently started a course with the free teacher account. I set a self enroll link on the homepage and projected it for my students to enroll in my course. The next time the tried to log in, they were asked to provide an email associated with their password. They did not sign up with an email. No doubt someone else has done this. Help please.

Hi Again Julie,
It appears that you have moved from Free for Teacher to a client instance of Canvas. I am going to mark this question as answered simply to make it easier for people to distinguish recently active questions from those that maybe have expired. However, if you still have a question about this or for anyone else who has the same question, please comment so we can readdress.
Dunno if this is the only solution, but for my goofball students that did that, I made them start over and then I inactivated their first attempt in the list of "People".
Hey Julie,
I'm sorry I'm only seeing this now. Were you ever able to resolve this login issue? Did you try Russell's work around?
