How one can post a PDF or Docx as a document student may scroll as opposed to posting a link?

Hi @mdacaret - If you follow the instructions here regarding embedding a document from within the rich content editor in Canvas (which is everywhere...assignments, discussions, etc.), while indeed students will have a link to the document, by default both a PDF and a DOCX will also allow students to scroll through it courtesy of the built-in document previewer in Canvas. (Check the screen capture under the very last heading, View Content, within that online lesson.)
There is also a feature in Canvas that will automatically open that document viewer so that students don't even have to click on that previewer icon. That feature is covered here: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12868-415268090
I hope this helps, Marco.
