How do I quickly delete or hide past events in my current course calendar?

I added several community and campus events into my course calendar last semester, and now these past events are all showing up in my current calendar. Is there a way to delete all of these past events at once or hide those past events fro my students?

 @shanan_ballam , the quickest and easiest way I’ve found is by flipping your calendar to Agenda view and deleting them from there (click on an assignment name and choose delete). Otherwise you can delete them from the regular calendar view as well.

Thank you for the solution for deleting events one by one. When they are recurring meetings (from last semester!) how can I delete them all? They don't show up on Zoom since they're not active meetings, but for some reason the course copy seems to have resulted in copying the past meetings and I'd like to get rid of them all at once, rather than having to delete every single one individually.

I am having the same problem. My scheduled office hours from a course I taught last semester are showing up on my current calendar. Do I have to delete them one by one?

Can I hide past event or assignments rather than delete?

I suspect the issue comes up with instructors "import" content from a previous course and choose "all content" rather than "select content."

I doubt that anyone ever wants to transfer over past "events," and I really don't understand why Canvas includes these "events" when the instructor imports content from one semester to the next.
