Is there a way to add a calendar event to ALL courses at the same time?

 @dtamez , greetings! Unfortunately, no, there isn't a way to add a calendar event to all courses at the same time. I did a little searching and I did find the following feature idea - https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/2301-create-a-single-course-calendar-entry-across-multiple-cla... - that seemed pretty close to what you were wanting. My recommendation is to vote, comment, and follow this idea so that way you'll be notified of any new activity related to this idea.

This idea makes way too much sense, and I can't imagine that it would be difficult for the technical team to implement. How many votes does it require for this issue to be addressed?

this isn't a solution. Why is it marked as solved? Also, I can't find a way to upvote the idea anymore.

Sometimes, even if the response is "no, this cannot be done", that is still an answer to the question...and therefore it was marked as a solution or solved.  (In the previous Canvas Community platform, prior to August 20202, answers were marked as "Correct".)  So, even if you and I ask questions and the answer isn't what you and I were hoping for, it could still be marked as correct...because the capability or functionality doesn't yet existing in Canvas.  Hope that makes sense.

Regarding the ability to upvote Feature Ideas... that is also something that changed when the Community site changed platforms in August 2020.  Instead of upvoting Feature Ideas, you can now give them a star rating.  So, for the Feature Idea that @kona referenced, Create a single course calendar entry across multi... - Instructure Community, you can give it a star rating.  Here is a Guide that explains more about the star rating system: How do idea conversations work in the Instructure ... - Instructure Community.
