How does one have a module be "opened" on a certain date without the students seeing what they cant get to?
Modules can be set to be accessible on a date-- however, students can STILL see what is in the module.
How does one set the module to "publish" and open on a certain date?
Solved! Go to Solution.
When you set a module to unlock on a specific date, that publishes the module and all content inside. I'm assuming Canvas does this to help prevent unlocking a module with nothing defined in it.
The only way to hide everything (not just disable) inside an unlocked module is to unpublish that assignment manually.
