My guidance counselor changed the titles of two of my courses on infinite campus. She essentially flipped the two classes. When I taught reading it was called language arts and when I taught writing it was called reading. So, she changed the titles. When she changed the titles, the assignments and everything is now in the wrong course. How can I move all materials from on course to another course? Essentially flip what is in one and put in another and vice versa. I have imported the assignments to see if that will work, but the external links that I have won't move with it.

Hi @ledamron
This can be fixed, but it is going to be tricky, and you will most likely need the help of your school's Canvas Admin/Support department.
- Create two new empty course shells, and name one Reading and the other Writing (just so you can keep them straight), How do I start a new course from the Dashboard as an instructor?
- Export all of the content from your actual live Writing course (regardless of what it is now named), into the empty Writing shell you created. How do I copy content from another Canvas Course.....?
- Do the same with your reading course.
- Reset the content in both actual live courses - this will wipe them clean. How do I reset course content?
- Import the content back into their correct shells.
DO NOT DO ANY OF THIS IF YOUR COURSE IS LIVE, INCLUDES STUDENT ENROLLMENTS, AND STUDENT SUBMISSIONS! Instead, talk to your Canvas admin for help!
I hope this is helpful,
Kelley
