Is it possible to post grades for just one student? I have given an exam online. I don't want to reveal the marks to all of the students - it's against our policy unless the student formally requests an exam re-read. How do I reveal the grade and comments only to those who formally request an exam re-read?

I really don't see how this is a solution! It only works if I've only marked 1 student's assignment. This is absolutely useless!!! it also means that I can't test things as a test student without revealing the whole class's grades too.
Sorry for the frustration. I'm too tired to edit to make my feedback pleasant.

The workaround I use to solve this is to use Sections. Under "Post grades", it is possible to publish grades ONLY to students in a specific section. Since specific students can be added to a section, this is a way of limiting the visibility to a single student or a sub-group.
It is an inelegant solution, and Sections management in Canvas is awful to work with, but if you don't do this too often, it's a functional workaround.
