+Quiz/Test Button Disappearing

Hi There, when I go to "Assignments" to begin creating a Quizzes.next assessment, the +Quiz/Test button is there for a split second, then disappears. I am unable to click it. When I look in my "Settings" for the course, I see Quizzes.Next on the left and the word "on" on the right (see image), but no slider. Any idea why I'm not able to create a Quizzes.Next assessment?

Hello  @josi_russelll , from my past experiences, your ability to view the +Quiz/Test button could be due to the browser you are using or possibly be the result of a conflict in your instances custom CSS/JavaScript. I would recommend making sure you are using the most recent version of your browser or see if you have the same results in a different browser. Then, if you still have issues seeing the button, it might be worth reaching out to the person who handles your institutions custom CSS & JavaScript files, to see if there might be a conflict in the custom coding.

I agree with Tye about the global javascript/css.  At my school we have javascript code to hide the Delete Course button from teachers.  It acts just like you describe; it's there for a second and then disappears.  It could be that your admins are not wanting you to use Quizzes.NEXT yet. 

One other possibility is extensions installed on your browser.  I've seen case where the button to start taking a test is not visible to students and tracked it down to extension related to security or add blocking.
