What to do when your discussion post disappears?

I posted a discussion response about 5 days ago and then 3 days ago saw that it was gone so I re-wrote it. Yesterday I could not find either of them. Is there a way to retrieve them? My professor can see them, however I can not.

It is very likely that the Discussion replies just spilled over to additional pages. Have you tried searching by your name?

Yes I tried to search my name, it doesn’t appear for some reason.

Hi  @sssmit25 , it's been a while since you posted your question. How have you got on with this challenge?

I emailed my professor about the situation after looking around and emailing canvas and he said that he could see my post so I just continued with the assignment
