I have successfully integrated app into Canvas as "Badges" now appears in Canvas navigation. I believe I have successfully assigned formerly created badges to Canvas modules, but when I click on "Claim my badge," I get this message: "No completion badge has been set for this module. Choose a badge in the Badges configuration page available from your course navigation."

That sounds like you may be using an older version of Badges, as I'm under the impression that the "choose a badge in the badges configuration page available from your course navigation" message relates to the LTI 1.1 version of Canvas, which used items you had to place in the module to connect the module with the badge. in the new 1.3 version, it should just require the module be setup with module requirements, and connected through the "badges" navigation item, like in these guides
