Catalog Program enrollments are not visible within the Canvas classes comprising the program

Hello Canvas colleagues!

I am a Canvas and Catalog Admin, but very green to the Catalog Admin role.

My institution has just offered out first multi-course (2) program. We now have 15 enrollments in the program, but in the 2 individual Canvas courses, we do not see any students. I though the students would be auto-populated in the courses due to the Program enrollments.  Is there any thoughts on why this is occurring, or am I mistaken about how Program enrollments work?

Will the Course "Publish" status affect this? I just expected the students would appear as "pending" within the courses, and the invitations would be sent out upon Publish of the courses.  This is not very well explained in the Catalog Guides, or have I missed something?

Any guidance is appreciated.

@dacarter My assumption is if the course isn't published or the students didn't select begin program in the UI of Catalog that could be why they arent appearing.
