Last Summer I created Discussion Boards as a shared resource and put them in Canvas Commons. I listed them under the # MLFWPS LA. I see them in there. I have tried to import them into a current course. When I do I get the standard "You have successfully started the import! It may take a little while to see changes in your course." But they never show up. Why? What can I do about it? Maybe I should add that these Discussion Boards all have images.
Hi @AmyHeritage-McD ...
After you start the import process of the Discussion topic in Commons (after you see the "You have successfully started the import" message), can you please go into the actual course where you were importing those topics into? Once in the course, go to the "Settings" page, and then click on "Import Course Content" on the right of your screen. Under the "Current Jobs" heading, you should see a row for the import from Commons that you just initiated (if you don't see it immediately, refresh your screen a couple times, and it will eventually show up). This should show you the complete status of the import from Commons. Do you see this within your course?

@AmyHeritage-McD ...
Thank you for confirming that and providing the screenshot. I think it would be best for you to reach out to Canvas Support at this point so that they could sign in to your course with you and take a look at things more closely. Since we here in the Community do not have access to your course content, it's a bit difficult to troubleshoot here. You can reach out to Canvas Support by going to: How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?. Please keep us posted as you find out more information...thanks!
