Hello,
I am using Canvas Studio to add my own videos or videos with a YouTube link to build a module I intend to share to the Canvas Commons. If the module is imported from Commons by a user who has Canvas, but does not have Canvas Studio, will it make the videos I put in the module inaccessible to them?
Hi, @NATHANINKENBRAN !
I'm so sorry nobody has gotten to your question.
If you are planning on sharing a resource via commons to the public, but using studio media from your school account, then it will vary.
If you used the rich-content editor to embed your studio media into your course, then yes, it would be inaccessible. However, if you created a public link (if allowed by your institution) with your studio media, and created it as an embed code, then it would work. Using the RCE for your studio media connects to your course roster to get video insights and other things like that, which is connected to your school only, which is why studio media embedded that way would not work for those outside of your school.
Hope this helps, so sorry for the late response! Please reach out with any more questions or concerns.
All the best,
Noah
