Anytime I upload a module to the Commons, I get a message stating "There was an issue sharing your resource." Has anyone had this problem? If so, what steps do I need to take moving forward?
I have already tried deleting the original module from commons and uploading it as a new module.
I've had this issue with a Module that contained a Discussion template with new embedded videos from Canvas to better support students using the updated Discussion tool. I had the same problem with sharing the stand-alone Discussion template to Commons as well. I wonder if there is an issue with discussion? I haven't yet attempted with a non-discussion resource. I opened a ticket through Canvas Support Chat on Monday that was elevated to L2. They promised additional communication through email and I haven't heard anything. Enforcement of Discussions Redesign has been a nightmare!
BTW - the message has a typo. It states, "The was an issue sharing your resource." Come on Instructure - do better!
