Hi @JoeyJacobs ...
It sounds like you are doing things right in Canvas (no need to capitalize every letter, by the way). But, to confirm:
- At your previous school, you had shared your modules to Canvas Commons.
- At your new school, you went to Commons to import the modules from your previous school into a new, empty course shell.
- When you looked at your modules in the new course, that is when you were getting the error message.
When you initially shared your modules from your previous school to Commons, did you share each module individually (you cannot share multiple modules all at once), or did you share your entire course to Commons? If you shared modules to Commons individually, did you get the error message for all modules, or just for a select few?
Also, when you got that error message, what kind of content were you trying to view? Was it a normal content page, assignment, discussion, etc.? Was it a link to a website? Was it a link to a third-party external tool that had been integrated into your previous school's Canvas course that might not be used at your new school?
Beyond those questions, it might be worth your time to contact Canvas Support to see if they have any other thoughts/suggestions for you. Here's how to contact them: How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?
Please keep us posted here in the Community...thanks!
