While someone has already forwarded this for you, I wanted to add on.
To my knowledge, only certain Canvas Admins of an institution can directly contact their institution's assigned Customer Success Manager, if assigned one. This isn't someone Teachers and Students usually have access to directly get in contact with.
With Commons, a CSM must configure it for your institution before it becomes available. Commons is not automatically supported on all Canvas instances by default.
I'd recommend reaching out to your school's Canvas admin or IT department to see if Commons is something they'd be willing to ask to get configured for your school.
