Exporting Roll Call Attendance Data from Canvas to CRM Engage via API

Hello Canvas API Developers,

We are working on a project to integrate Canvas Roll Call Attendance data into our CRM Engage system (powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365). Currently, gradebook information from Canvas is successfully imported into CRM Engage via API, so we are looking to replicate this process for Roll Call Attendance data.

Here are my questions:

1. Does the Canvas API provide endpoints to extract Roll Call Attendance data? If yes, could you specify the relevant endpoint(s)?
2. Are there any limitations or specific configurations needed to access and export this data?
3. Would this data require any special handling or formatting for integration with a third-party system like CRM Engage?

We are particularly interested in automating alerts for students with consecutive absences, so any guidance or examples of similar use cases would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @nick77,

Roll Call Attendance is an LTI app that was written by Instructure, and therefore, it is not part of the core Canvas API (see this post from 2023 for more information). I do not think there is a way to do what you are asking.
