Provide an additional option for instructors to communicate important announcement information to students before they can access course content.
When an instructor creates a new announcement in a course, allow the instructor to select an option for ‘force pop-up window in course’. This option will generate a pop-up window the next time students access the course, displaying the announcement content and requiring students to click on “I’ve read this announcement” before they can access the course content.
