On the desktop, browser-based site, students and parents are unable to message teachers from/about an individual assignment. In the mobile app, this functionality already exists, but not on the desktop. For example, if a parent has a question about an assignment, in the mobile app, there is an icon to click to create a message that pre-populates the assignment name, etc.. This functionality does not appear to exist currently in the desktop, browser-based version.
Add a button within individual assignments that would create a message with the subject pre-populated to reference the specific assignment where there is a question. This would allow quick and easy communication between students/parents and teachers.
