I was trying to save changes to an assignment and could not (no response from the browser). Eventually I figured out that the reason it would not save is because my assignment due date was set before the course start date. I had to select the “Manage Assign To” link to see the error, which appeared in the side tray. Prior to the 7/20 release, this error message appeared on the edit assignment page next to the Assign To dialog and was therefore more obvious.
Automatically pop out the Assign To tray, which displays the "Due date cannot be before course start" error message, when a user tries to save changes to an assignment that has a due date before the course start date.
