[Assignments] Due Date Button
With the recent update, the "due date" is no longer clearly displayed on the new assignment. Instead, there is an extra click on the blue text to go in and change the due date. This isn't as intuitive as the previous format which was to have the due date listed under the point value and submission type.
Please put the due date back under this information on the front page. When I tried to copy an assignment from a previous class and was trying to make edits to it, the edits wouldn't save. A Canvas rep told me it was because I hadn't updated the due date, but it also gave me no indication that I needed to do that, nor did it tell me that I needed to do that by clicking on the blue "Assign to" words. It created confusion where there wasn't any before. Please remove the extra clicks for every new assignment by putting the due date back on the main page when we create an assignment. Thank you!!
